A red neon Pegasus crowns the Magnolia Hotel Dallas, a reminder of bygone days when the building housed the headquarters of Magnolia Petroleum Co., a predecessor of Mobil Oil. The iconic symbol now draws attention to a 330-room boutique hotel conveniently located near the Dallas Convention Center, the flagship Neiman Marcus, and Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The Pegasus flying horse and other historical touches makes subtle appearances inside the 29-story hotel as well, particularly on the twenty-fourth floor, where renovations incorporated historic features like original doors with glass transoms and stunning marble into the guest rooms and suites.
Thanks to its heritage, the Magnolia Hotel Dallas enjoys 8,000 square feet of space for corporate events and business meetings to 250, including 12 meeting and breakout rooms. Across the street, its new 3,500-square-foot Pegasus Grand Ballroom accommodates groups of up to 235.
