The peaks of Glacier National Park and the northern Rockies define the horizon at Whitefish Lake, Montana, where Grouse Mountain Lodge provides a lakeside seat on the view. Just a half-hour’s drive from the park and minutes from skiing, summer recreation, and Whitefish Mountain Resort, the lodge’s rustic elegance grounds meeting participants in three-diamond comfort while their inspiration levels reach for the sky.
A covered walkway leads from the lobby to the Continental Divide Conference Center, which holds up to 300 people or divides in two. The next largest space, the Glacier Room, hosts 146 next to a covered deck overlooking Whitefish Lake Golf Club. The seasonal Pavilion takes full advantage of the wooded grounds and lawns, hosting up to 300 for receptions and 250 for open-air buffets. Custom catering benefits from the talented chefs at three diverse restaurants. For extra-special occasions, parties of up to 30 can dine in the Wine Room, so named for its impressive inventory.
Guests can embark on anything from fly-fishing to river rafting and hikes to see bear, elk, and moose in the wild. In winter, guides lead ski trips and treks into the wilderness via snowmobile, sleigh, and dogsled. In the warmer months, golf takes center stage—thanks to 36 holes of championship play that skirt the lodge. In addition, participants enjoy an on-site Day Spa, fitness center, and pool year-round.
