The Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm debuted on February 20, 2014, in the former home of the Hotel Concorde Berlin. Set in a modern tour de force by architect Jan Kleihues, the hotel claims an address synonymous with high style and culture just off the Kurfürstendamm. Sofitel brought a generous helping of French savoir vivre to the heart of Berlin, from its avant-garde decor to its lounge and gourmet Brasserie Le Faubourg, Lutèce Bar, Clefs d'Or concierges, spa, and fitness center.
In addition to 311 five-star accommodations, the hotel features two floors of meeting space, including a 24,000-square-foot ballroom flooded with natural light from windows on two sides. Works by leading contemporary artists add touches of inspiration to every gathering—steps from the Kaethe Kollwitz Museum, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Theatre of the West, Europa Center, and more.
